| A Vivian is a member of one of the most active clubs here at the Elks! Without a doubt, a Vivian is a woman who enjoys socializing, with a dinner out and little time to kibitz with her friends once a month; she is interested in making a difference, giving back a little something to the Lodge and community at large. The Vivians regularly volunteer at the Harrington, collect food for the Blue Water Food Depot, donate to Major Projects and various local charities, and throw a "shower" for Carolyn's Place at Safe Horizons. A Vivian can be an Elk member or a spouse of a member, and although most of our members are female, we do not discriminate– we appreciate all support! Our dues are only $10.00 a year and we meet the first Tuesday of each month, September through June. The Vivian Club of B.P.O. Elks Lodge 343, Port Huron, Michigan, was founded in 1955. |
